The three Khoury brothers are native Palestinians from Jordan living in France, they have been raised surrounded by the treasures of classical Arab music. Nourished by their roaming around opera, jazz, flamenco and contemporary music, the three brothers expand the horizons today by mixing the Middle Eastern tradition to the most daring experiments. Their classical instrumentation (oud, qanun and violin) flourishes on unexplored lands, a large and joyful playground where modal improvisations take their time to settle and where harmonized themes set in nuances or exalted take-offs. Equally powerful and subtle.
