Cult band from Istanbul underground, Baba Zula have been unloading their colourful and incredible sound souk since 1996. This unusual combo makes electric saz bud along with oud or frantic derbukas in a sound experience waving from oriental dub, exuberant rock and ageless electro-trad .Their eccentric shows are real outstanding performances, a kind of hallucinatory virtues rituals drawing a dreamlike portrait of the buzzing Bosporus metropolis. At the crossroads of East and West, the eccentric Baba Zula are the twinkling of Turkish Psychedelics, cosmopolitan and surreal.
